Hi, I'm Angela Evangeline Kwan, more affectionately known as gel and lala. I was born on 27th February 1991. My hobbies include playing the piano, singing, songwriting, baking and shopping. My dream? To start a family, be a loving and understanding wife, an inspiring and authoritative mother, a filial and obedient daughter. Oh, and perhaps to sing the songs that I've written or maybe start some bakery cafe.

New Year's eve meal ☆ 2011/12/31 New Year's eve is kinda different this year. Didn't think I'll have this much fun. Had dance in the morning where we learnt some shines =) After which my parents came to pick me up for lunch. Had my favourite penang fried kway teow. Came home, read some manga, napped a little and out for dinner with Ryan. Ryan's pretty interesting cos he was on the road even before we decided what to eat so he drove around with gps. Headed to Rochester Park first. They had 1 caramel there but the food's new year eve's menu so it was really pricey =x But we found a healing cafe thingy where we had juice and apple pie with soyato ice cream. It's all organic and high quality ingredients, or so the head chef says. Plus, we had the last apple pie they had =)  Ryan's ABC juice. I think it's got apple, beetroot and carrot or something. Mine's got pear, ginger, cinnamon and calamansi =) It's got a weird taste at the start cos ginger and calamansi were pretty dominant but I was less sensitive to it after a while.  Apple pie with soyato ice cream =) Apparently the apples are organic and they used organic vanilla pods too. Moreover, this dessert is less sinful than the usual apple pie. Drove to dempsey hill for a while but couldn't find something nice to eat so we headed to UE square to district 10. Walked a little around Liang Court too and went to Meidiya =) Oh, there were japanese families there and the kids were so cute! Had dinner at district 10. Lovely place. Something liek Brotzeit, a bar/restaurant concept.  Our mocktail. Ryan's got the one on the right called Gunner and mine's Intimate Passion (or something) Not bad but mine was kinda sour due to all the berries in it.  My german sausages. Weiserwurst, I think.. Not bad but really filling. Especially the mashed potatoes but the onion sauce is good.  Ryan's Wagyu Meatballs. It's pretty good actually especially if I say so cos I'm not really a beef person.  Pavlova. The passion fruit ice cream was good but the meringue thingy was so-so. Kinda sweet actually =x Then Ryan drove me home and I had to help him set the gps to direct him home cos he doesn't know the way. Hahaha~ Overall, I think it's pretty good this year~ Now I'm home and ready to count down with my parents cos my bro's out =p
