Hey. I went out quite a lot over the past few days, except for yesterday. Went to school on thursday for CCA bonding day, organized by my juniors. It was fun. We were playing, slacking in the air conditioned dance room unlike some CCAs which had training that day. It was fun =) Then went to IMM with Mel and Kia to celebrate Mel's bday. We wanted to have Swensen's but it was crowded, really crowded. So we decided to head over to Ajisen for ramen. we had some ramen set and ordered an ice cream each. We all ordered different variations of macha ice cream =) Wells, it was a wrong decision to order macha parfait though I really wanted to try parfait and here's why.
1. I was happily eating the macha parfait scooping the ice cream at the top and mixing it with a bit of the whipped cream at the middle (jellies are at the bottom).
2. I tasted something weird (no words could describe it at that point in time) somewhere in the middle and when I scooped the macha ice cream at the top, it tasted weird too.
3. So I looked at the ice cream and noticed that my macha ice cream came in two shade of green. The top's a dull green-tea green while the bottom's a bright green.
4. Scooped the top, tasted like macha.
5. Scooped the bottom, some unknown taste.
6. Kia and Mel joined in and tried the unknown ice cream.
7. Enlightened. Realised it was wasabi ice cream (it didn't have that spicy wasabi taste but rather a bitter taste)
So here I am, so bitter about having wasabi ice cream in my macha parfait. I'm gonna try another one somewhere else... Probably at bentendo or something. Felt so disappointed with the macha parfait here =/
Then we went to walk around and bought some stuff. Then headed back to school cos Kia and Mel had dancing session for the Taiwan trip. Luckily I brought magazines so I was reading mags while waiting for them. Then we had dinner at IKEA with Daniel and Kenneth joined us for some light shopping at Anchorpoint.
Dinner's alright, Kia and I had salads cos we were still quite full =p Then at Anchorpoint, we went looking for Daniel's shirt for prom. Found one, you'll see on Friday. Then we went Cotton On, Charles and Keith, ClubMarc, Billabong... It was fun but unfortunately Kia lost her phone. I don't know what happened but I'm pretty sure someone must have taken it so if you're the person and you're reading this, please return it to Kia.
Ok, I'm not really in a mood to slam the unknown person. Probably it's someone who's SUPER INCONSIDERATE to create problems for Kia, someone who's SENSE OF INTEGRITY'S NEGLIGIBLE, someone who's NOT EVEN WORTH MENTIONING cos you know what, your deeds are A DISGRACE to this CIVILIZED WORLD and you're probably someone UNREFINED, and even if you were an unpolished rock, nothing will polish you till you shine like a crystal!

So Kia stayed over on thurs cos there's school on friday and it was rather late.
School on friday's really slack. We were just there to listen to prize presentation and slacked ard, having one of our last meals at the school canteen. Then got our transcript =) I think this sem's my best grades but unfortunately I'll need some unobtainable grade to graduate with distinction cos my year 3 and 4 grades weren't so good. Went out for lunch at KFC with Kia, Mel, Nes, Shuhui, Wing and Daniel. Then headed down to Orchard with Nes and Wing. Didn't buy the black stilettos I wanted cos it's not really worth it if I only wear it once or twice =/ Nes bought a dress though, not for prom. Haha~ Oh and Nes and I had green tea cream at Starbucks =) Gel hearts green tea cream ^-^
Sat: Retreat. It was fun =) Then birthday celebrations at my cousins's place. I'm afraid of their new dog, Bugsy. It's overly friendly, unlike Ron and Kia's dogs... Doesn't really bark but it just keeps getting close to me... But the birthday celebration's pretty grand with like 150 helium balloons =) Looked really really pretty =)

It'e been a while since I've last blogged. So let's start with the stuff I promised to say but I've not mentioned yet.

Went out for the past few days but I shall keep it really really short. Will elaborater another time cos I have to study for my test on Monday =x

I went to Tangs again today, in hope that they have transferred the dress that I want cos the last time I went, they didn't have S. But no luck today and since I was at Orchard ytd didn't find the one I wanted (they didn't even have that model, let alone the size...), I thought of three worst case scenarios. 1. To be less picky and choosy and go find another dress (which unfortunately isn't helpful since I'm even picky about the style and color. Sheesh..) or 2. Custome-make one (just kinda costly and rushed) or 3. Just tailor a dress myself (it'll be interesting to wear a dress made by yours truly ^-^)

So just in case all else fails and I somehow have to miraculously piece together some fabric for a dress, I decided to try and make something simple for my bro's manequin. Wells, don't ask me for the template and proportions for the dress cos I don't have it. How I did is was to just make a rough sketch of what I want, visualise how to get it like that and start snipping (of course I made some measurements). It's the second dress I've made actually. The first dress I made was for my art exam in primary school. *sidetrack* In primary school, we were given two choices every art exam and when I was in p6, one of the choices was to make a dress out of recycled materials while the other was to draw something, so I chose to make a dress. It's really nice, it'll be even better if it was satin. I made a dress out of white garbage bag. And it looked something like this:

It's a white halter dress with this beaded flower embellishment at the neck. It was really pretty and guess what? I was the only one in class who did a dress =) Haha~ But I guess that's the perido of time when I design a few pieces of clothes. I had a few new styles then, which included the currently IN short jackets and those togas where the strap goes from front right to back left. Only stopped when I saw these styles on TV and I felt so disappointed cos I had the same idea... *back on track* Yups, so I've spent about 3 1/2 hours trying to piece fabric and here's how it looks like =)

I know, I know.. I didn't do the skirting well cos I got so tired after doing the top and I didn't see where I was sewing and it was slanted. Inspiration for this dress is Taylor Swift's dress in love story. The pink parts are supposed to be gold but I don't have gold fabric. Yups. Maybe I can do something larger during the hols.. Haha~ But it's super tiring, so I guess option 3's kinda ruled out especially since I'm gonna be super picky about the sewing and all and I can't use the sewing machine to sew curved lines (required for the bodice thingy). Sighs... I'm gonna be quite desperate for a prom dress =/

Gahs.. So much to do on my to-do-list.
1. Need to do prom stuff, check budget (make sure we don't exceed and all), search for my prom dress (stupid me, took so long to decide on one and then now I can't find the size), search for shoes for prom (once again, I'm super picky). I was contemplating on making my own prom dress but I realised I have less than 10 days to work on it, minus searching for the materials and I have no idea how to put together a dress. I tried once, started on two sleeves of the chobits dress and I didn't continue cos I didn't know how to do the body part and the skirt. Sighs..
2. I need to seriously study for my test next week. I don't wanna fail it.
3. I need to revise all my sec school math and bio...
4. I need to find time to do something for Chua (I'll have time if I can find my prom dress cos I won't be this stressed out by it)
And on my want and need list (not in any order of preference. I'm too lazy to sort it out)
1. Black stilettos =) I hearts this possibly 5 inch one but I don't wanna buy something I'll wear only once or twice.
2. Bright cyan/light blue satin blouse (those office wear)
3. Boots
4. Eternal nail art =)
5. Konad nail stencil =) =) and the special paint and whatever stuff that it comes with
6. Blue contacts (No, I don't want to look like a Caucasian. I just think that Asian girls with blue eyes are really unique especially if they have black hair, not that mine is jet-black)
7. To do something fund this hols (I've already have plans with Chua)
8. Shopping with kiakia =)
9. Picnic in school in the morning
10. Do stupid stuff with friends that doesn't include getting wasted, smoking and all the other vices or so I deem them as vices. Most probably like erms, be childish at Sentosa, go ice-skating, KBox or what...

Home alone today. So I had to make lunch for myself. Ok, it's not a chore to make lunch cos I enjoy cooking and making stuff to eat. It's like I'll just visualize what I want to eat and just get the ingredients I need and just make it AND it at least taste decent =)

Today's lunch. Some pizza-looking thing, tuna and egg. It's rather filling though. I had 6 of those and I'm full =/

Don't multitask; especially if you're kneeling at the bedside, trying to msn and blowing dry your hair. Almost got my hair burnt la, using one hand to manouvre the hairdryer and another hand to type =/

Ok, dad got my bro and I a new camera which I'm not really fond of the buttons and functions ytd. It's some fujifilm camera that's supposedly waterproof, can be used as underwater camera and has rubbery buttons. It's less user friendly than my previous one. Sighs... Like I was testing out the macro mode to take my nail art and it kept taking blur shots even though I decreased shutter speed and all and it's really less friendly compared to my previous one which may just be a 5 mega pixel one, but it was good enough for me, like I could adjust the ISO, exposure, shutter speed cos I DON'T USE ONE OF THOSE IN-BUILT MODES. I prefer macro mode and adjust everything else by myself. And this camera doesn't give me this function. Oh wells, it's like just so I can take some convo and prom shots and my bro can take some grad night shots. I shall read up on other cameras and find one that gives me this freedom. Oh, and I wanted to mention that the salesperson who was trying to promote this product ytd, yea, he did a pretty good job in explaining the product and all but it wasn't even catered to my needs. Like he kept assuming teens like my bro and I usually use those automatic functions and what not.. Sheesh! For the past 5 years since I got my other camera, I've not really used those automatic functions cos it doesn't capture the effect I want in the photos and no one else in my family knows how to use my "manual" mode and they just take pictures with whatever setting that's currently in place. Yea, so my point is, I don't even use the automatic setting so why keep promoting it. Sheesh. Ok, I'm not that mad now...

Ok, my nails are officially crystalized. Sorry, no pics. I think they're pretty, but the fushia crystals don't match or complement my nail color. Hmm.. So guess I'll stock up more white crystals =) But the thing is, it's quite irritating to type with these nail arts cos my fingers get stuck in the keyboard esp if I don't press the keys properly. Irritating.. My right index finger got stuck like dunno how many times already, since this morning =x But wells, all these for nice nails =p Must bear with it. At least the crystals must last until Monday. I just put them on today =/

Today was fun =) Went out with uncle and cousin gabriel for lunch at sakae. It was good =) Hearts the salmon pasta =) And sushi galore.. Haha~ Then went to register for theory test. It's like in 2 weeks and I've not studied. Yea, go ahead and congratulate me. I hope I'll pass.

Then out for dinner with rad, kia, theo, yunhui, john and ron-nee at vivo at kopitiam. Ok, rad and i were early, like almost 2 hours early... So we walked ard and the rest are censored to keep a certain secrecy for a certain reason =) Cos someone reads my blog so censored =p Haha~ Then we went to nat geo to just look ard and kia came. Then theo came. Then john and yunhui came. And finally ron-nee. So after dinner, movies with everyone but rad cos he had something to see to. We watched love happens.
Love happens spoilers and reflections
Wells, the movie is good. Sad and teary at times. The guy lost his wife in a car accident. And lots of ppl lost their loved ones and I can totally relate to it, so it was kinda sad for me =/ It's like how everyone was overcoming the fear of losing their special someone, son, daughter, friend, spouse.. How they did the things they were afraid to do cos it reminds them of their loved ones. Avoided places, avoided things to do, avoided their belongings. And I realised I was doing that too. There's one place I've avoided. Tried not to go near there, not to set foot there. I guess I'll be going there soon to take this step in my life and start moving on. Enough with accepting and acknowledging it. Time to move on. It may not be possible to go back to that stage, and I doubt someone will read this but I'll say it anw. [Sorry. I seemed to have almost given up on you. But my 7th and possibly the last promise to you, whether you read it or not, I will always treat you as my close friend and I'll do my part to maintain this end of the friendship. I won't be always watching over you, but I'll do my best to be there whenever you feel you need my presence.] Yups, ok, enough with the sad stuff and back to the movie review. It's really great =) I like the movie and I'm inspired to do what I just did. One last thing to do =)

Sheesh. I can't take a pic of my nice pedicured toes cos my camera is faulty. For some unknown reason, the lens were jammed since erms.. Two Sundays ago and it doesn't seem to be working any time soon. Plus, my handphone camera isn't good. Can't focus on the details of my pedicure. Gahs =/

I love the designs on my toes. It's more or less symmetrical now that I've redid it this morning. But my right toe seems better than the left one.

Guess what? I realised I bought the crystals of the wrong size... My crystals were ss7, but I bought s5 >.< Sighs.. Guess I'll need more crystals on my nails.. Shall put crystals on them after I've played enough piano. Can't risk having the crystals falling off again. And I'm SO not going to play beethoven with crystals on my nails. It's fine if I put like 2 or 3 on specific spots but not fine when I line the edge with it =/ Oh wells, I'll see first.. Supposed to be doing manicure for kia tmr =p Gotta see how to make sure the crystals don't fall off =x

There was convo rehearsal today. It was pretty slacked. Spent most of the time chatting to kia and cheryl about random stuff like clothes and all. Haha~ Then I watched Kia play oven baked. It's super cute and cool =) Haha~

After rehearsals, I went to jp with kia, mel, daniel and perry to buy crystals =) Haha~ Yes, I'm gonna do my nail art soon =) Kinda running low on crystals, like I've only got 48 pieces white crystals left... Dunno if it'll be enough so I've invested in more white crystals and pink crystals =) Gonna do the crystals tmr cos I painted my nails quite late and I want to finish my pedicure before sticking on thos crystals on my nails (I'm afraid the pedicure will ruin my nail art). I'll probably take a pic of my nail art when I'm done =) Probably will include the price too =p
